I enjoy using natural all-purpose cleaning sprays in my home made with essential oils to keep our environment safe from toxic chemicals. I’ve been using this homemade recipe for a few years now.
ITEMS USED:
- 16-ounce spray bottle – glass would be ideal
- 3 tablespoons rubbing alcohol
- 3 tablespoons liquid Dish Soap or Castile Soap
- 30 drops (which equals about 1 teaspoon) of essential oil(s)
Add the rubbing alcohol, soap, and essential oils to the spray bottle. Fill up the remainder of the bottle with filtered water.
NOTE: You can mix your essential oils to come up with your own special blend. Some good choices are lavender, orange, peppermint, lemon/lemon balm/lemongrass. Also, I only use a few drops of these to each bottle: tea tree, pine, or eucalyptus
